【Product Application】The spiral blades at the overflow end of the submerged spiral classifier are all immersed below the overflow surface, which is mainly suitable for grading ores with an overflow particle size of 0.15~0.07mm

Advantages and Features

This classifier is widely used in ore dressing plants to form a closed-loop cycle with a ball mill to divide and divert ore sand, or to be used in gravity ore dressing plants to grade ore sand and fine mud, to grade the ore pulp in the metal ore dressing process, and to desludging and dehydration in ore washing operations. This classifier has the characteristics of simple structure, reliable operation, and convenient operation.

Working Principle

The submerged spiral classifier is a grading device that uses the principle that solid particles of different sizes and specific gravities have different settling speeds in liquids. Fine ore particles float in the water and overflow, while coarse ore particles sink to the bottom of the tank and are pushed to the upper part by the spiral for discharge. The spiral rotates at a low speed, stirring the slurry so that fine particles are suspended on the surface and overflow at the overflow weir, while coarse particles sink to the bottom of the tank and are transported to the discharge port by the spiral for discharge as return sand.
