What should be paid attention to during the trial operation of the dual-mass vibrating feeder?

2025-04-08

The dual-mass vibrating feeder is an efficient feeding equipment, widely used in coal, metallurgy, electricity and other industries. During the trial operation of the dual-mass vibrating feeder, the following key points should be paid attention to to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

1. Inspection and preparation

Confirm that the angles of the eccentric blocks at both ends of the dual-mass vibrating feeder are consistent to ensure that the vibration motor moves in the opposite direction at a constant speed.

Check whether all fasteners are firm, and the electrical wiring and insulation are good.

Make sure that the potentiometer knob is adjusted to the "zero" position and prepare to gradually increase the current.

2. No-load trial operation

Connect the power supply, gradually increase the current, and observe whether the dual-mass vibrating feeder runs in the opposite direction.

Check whether the amplitude, current, and voltage meet the standards.

Confirm that the trough swings evenly and the suspensions are consistent.

3. Operation observation

After starting, if any abnormality is found, stop the machine immediately for inspection.

Make sure that the motor current is stable and there is no overload.

Check the sound of the equipment and eliminate abnormal noise.

4. Load test run

After the equipment vibrates stably, it can be fed and run.

Ensure that the feeding amount meets the requirements and avoid overloading.

5. Maintenance and adjustment

Regularly check and tighten the top bolts, fixing screws and nuts.

Observe the surface temperature of the motor to ensure that it is within the normal range.

Adjust the amplitude and the discharge gate opening according to the material characteristics.

6. Safety and environmental adaptation

Ensure that the motor and its electrical parts are well grounded, moisture-proof and leakage-proof.

In the rainy season or winter, pay attention to the anti-freeze and moisture-proof measures of the equipment.

7. Long-term maintenance

Add bearing grease every two months, and add it every month in high temperature seasons.

Dismantle the motor every six months and replace the internal bearings.
